French officer of the 5th Line. A surviving letter of his contains one of the few contemporary descriptions of the battle of Lonato. See Carnot, Capt. "La bataille de Lonato racontée par un témoin" Le carnet de la sabretache, s. 2, v. 5 (1906): 557-60.

The author has not yet been able to uncover this officer's biographical details. He is not listed in Balteau, J. and others. Dictionnaire de biographie française, 1933-, or Michaud. Biographie universelle ancienne et moderne, 1843-?.
