Isla Lang Fisher, born on February 3, 1976, in Muscat, Oman, is an Australian actress, voice artist, and children's author. Her parents are Scottish, and her family moved to Australia during her childhood. Fisher started her entertainment career in Australia, first appearing in TV commercials before getting her big break as Shannon Reed on the long-running soap opera "Home and Away" from 1994 to 1997.
