Bárbara Mori Ochoa, born on February 2, 1978, in Montevideo, Uruguay, moved to Mexico, where she built a successful career in TV, film, and modeling. She trained at the Centro de Educación Artística de Televisa, one of Mexico's top performing arts schools, which helped her become a well-known actress in Latin American entertainment. She was married to Kenneth Ray Sigman, and they have a son.

Mori started her career in 1992 as a fashion model at 14, quickly getting noticed for her striking looks.
