The storm impacted a wide swath of central Chile, forcing road closures that isolated more than 42,000 people and affecting a total of 33,234 individuals. Three fatalities were recorded as a direct result of the storm's impact across the affected regions.
By late August 2023, assessments recorded 21,832 houses with minor damage, 2,899 with major damage, and 44 fully destroyed. An additional 1,509 houses were still under evaluation, indicating a widespread housing crisis requiring sustained recovery and relief efforts across the affected regions.
