The son of former Danish footballer Finn Laudrup and younger brother of Michael Laudrup, he became one of Denmark's best wingers and attacking players. Known for his technical skill and speed, he was a key player for both club and country during the 1990s. Laudrup started his professional career with the Danish club Brøndby, winning two Danish championships in the late 1980s before moving to top clubs in Europe. He made his debut for the Danish national team in 1987 at 18, playing a vital role in Denmark's surprise victory at the 1992 European Championship, one of football's greatest underdog stories.
