Cara Cavell Black, born on February 17, 1979, in Harare, Zimbabwe, became one of the most successful doubles players in professional tennis history. She played singles and reached her highest ranking of World No. 31 in March 1999. However, she excelled in doubles, eventually becoming doubles World No. 1 and winning ten major titles during her career.
