Biography
Daniel Brandon Bilzerian was born on December 7, 1980, in Tampa, Florida. He is the oldest son of corporate raider and businessman Paul Bilzerian, whose legal issues and financial controversies affected the family's public image. Dan Bilzerian attended Admiral Farragut Academy, a military prep school in St. Petersburg, Florida, and finished his secondary education at Gaither High School in Tampa. He later went to the University of Florida, where he studied business and criminology, but left before completing his degree. He was dropped from the Navy SEAL training program after disagreements with instructors during his second try at Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training.
