Iga Natalia Świątek was born on May 31, 2001, in Warsaw, Poland. She is a professional tennis player currently ranked world No. 3 in women's singles by the Women's Tennis Association. She previously held the world No. 1 ranking for a total of 125 weeks, which is the seventh-most in WTA history. She is the first Polish player, male or female, to win a Grand Slam singles title, and her achievements have elevated Polish tennis internationally.
