Biography

Veronica Scopelliti, known as Noemi, is an Italian singer-songwriter, music video director, and screenwriter born on January 25, 1982, in Rome. She became nationally known after competing in the second season of the Italian talent show X Factor in 2009, which launched her successful music career. After X Factor, Noemi became one of Italy's top contemporary artists, releasing seven studio albums with hit singles like "Briciole," "Vuoto a perdere," and "Per tutta la vita."

Noemi's music career includes performances at the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival, where she has competed with songs like "Sono solo parole," "Glicine," "Ti amo non lo so dire," and "Se t'innamori muori." Her collaborations with well-known Italian artists have produced chart-topping hits, especially "L'amore si odia" with Fiorella Mannoia, which reached number one in Italy. She has also teamed up with artists like Fedez on "L'amore eternit" and Carl Brave on "Makumba" and "Hula-hoop," showing her ability to blend different musical styles.

Outside of recording, Noemi has contributed to film music for Italian films like "Women vs. Men" and "Domani è un altro giorno." She won a special Nastro d'Argento award in 2019, celebrating her work in Italian film music.
