Mateo Kovačić, a Croatian footballer born on May 6, 1994, in Linz, Austria, plays as a central midfielder for Manchester City in the Premier League and the Croatia national team. He's well-known for his excellent dribbling and ability to keep possession in tight areas, establishing himself as one of Europe's top midfielders while playing for several elite clubs.
Kovačić started his career at Dinamo Zagreb, joining their youth setup and debuting in the senior team at just 16. He helped the team win two straight Prva HNL titles, catching the eye of major European clubs. His impressive performances in Croatia led him to join Inter Milan in 2013, where he continued to grow in Serie A.
In 2015, Kovačić moved to Real Madrid and enjoyed great success there for several seasons.
