The 2019 Formula One season's 15th round brought the championship to the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore, a venue that had hosted the race 11 times previously. Ferrari entered the weekend seeking a strong result amid a competitive mid-season battle with Red Bull and Mercedes.
On 22 September 2019, Sebastian Vettel won the Singapore Grand Prix ahead of Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc and Red Bull's Max Verstappen. Kevin Magnussen set the fastest lap. The result delivered Ferrari a 1–2 finish at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in front of a capacity crowd.
The victory proved to be Vettel's final Formula One race win and the last Ferrari 1–2 finish until the 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix. It also remained the most recent win by a German F1 driver as of 2025. The 2020 and 2021 editions of the race were subsequently cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
