Biography
Dmytro Ivanovych Kuleba was born on 19 April 1981 in Sumy, Ukraine. He studied at the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, building the base for a career in diplomacy and international affairs. He is married to Yevheniia Kuleba and has received the Order of Merit (Ukraine), 3rd class, for his public service.
Kuleba's career took shape in the Ukrainian foreign service and diplomatic corps, gaining experience in various international roles before reaching top government positions. From 2016 to 2019, he was Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe, enhancing his work with European institutions and multilateral diplomacy. He later became Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, showing the country's ongoing efforts to align more closely with Western structures.
In 2020, Kuleba was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, becoming one of the youngest to hold that office in the country's history, a title once held by Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
