Biography

Rade Šerbedžija was born on July 27, 1946, in the village of Bunić, Croatia. He studied acting at the Academy of Dramatic Art, where he honed the skills that helped him become one of Yugoslavia's most famous actors. In the 1970s and 1980s, Šerbedžija became a notable name in Yugoslav cinema and theater, recognized for playing both strong and complex characters in different dramatic genres.
