Sebastian Vettel, born on July 3, 1987, in Heppenheim, Germany, is a former Formula One driver who raced from 2007 to 2022. He had amazing success early on, winning four straight World Drivers' Championships from 2010 to 2013 with Red Bull Racing, making him the youngest multiple world champion in Formula One. Over his 16-year career, Vettel won 53 Grand Prix races and established himself as one of the sport's top drivers.
Vettel started karting at age eight and quickly showed his racing skills. After winning the junior European Championship in 2001, he moved up through different junior racing categories. He dominated the Formula BMW ADAC championship in 2004 with 18 wins out of 20 races and then joined the Formula 3 Euro Series in 2005, finishing as runner-up to Paul di Resta the next season. His strong performance in these junior series earned him a test driver spot with BMW Sauber in 2006.
