Bernardo Mota Veiga de Carvalho e Silva was born on August 10, 1994, in Lisbon, Portugal. A talented midfielder and winger, he came up through Benfica's youth academy before debuting professionally with the club. His abilities were quickly noticed, and in January 2015, he joined Monaco permanently, where he became known as one of the most creative midfielders in Europe.
