Biography
Hasan Salihamidžić was born on 1 January 1977 in Jablanica, part of what was then Yugoslavia and is now Bosnia and Herzegovina. Widely known as Brazzo, a nickname that means 'little bro' in Bosnian, he became one of the most well-known Bosnian footballers of his time. He attended the Bavarian International School, which shows his long ties with Bavaria, a German state that played a big role in his career.
Salihamidžić's senior club career started with Hamburger SV in Germany, where his energy, speed, and skill on the right side caught a lot of attention. His strong play led to a move to Bayern Munich, the team he is most linked with. Over nine seasons there, he won numerous awards, including six Bundesliga titles, four DFB-Pokal titles, the 2000–01 UEFA Champions League, and the 2001 Intercontinental Cup. He was valued not just for his crossing and passing but also for his hard work, making him effective both in attack and defense.
After his time at Bayern Munich, Salihamidžić joined Italian giants Juventus, where he played for four seasons in Serie A.
